A Way to Enjoy the Heat...

It has been so great to be spending a little extra time with my daughter, Jordyn... This morning we woke up and she pulled me out to her little pool area and turned the hose on, all by herself. She was so excited to spray me and totally soak me. In fact, I think she enjoyed spraying everything, I turned my back for one second and she had opened the back door and taken the hose into the house... quick little thing, she is! But, you know, its all fun and games with kids. I couldn't help but laugh.
She also loves to have her picture taken, so I grabbed my camera and captured some of her sweetness. Lately, she has been doing this thing where she gets a little piece of ANYTHING on her finger or hand and says that it is a BUG.... then she pushes it close to people trying to scare them. Its so cute, because I think she thinks she is so clever! You can see it in her face.

I have such wonderful clients! Really, they are all more like friends now! I really appreciate all your calls and emails about my pregnancy and how things are coming along now that I am in the last several weeks. I am doing great and getting very anxious to have this little man in our lives! I will still be shooting some family, maternity and baby shoots in this last month, so please check back for those updates. Speaking of updates... I wanted to let you all know, in advance, that I will also be working on some updates to my website in the next few weeks. Things may start to look a little different, I will be adding some more photos, galleries and information. Also, I will be adding a section for Portraiture for families, maternity, babies, etc. I have had the pleasure of keeping in contact with so many of my clients as they go through life and I have been honored to capture these new times. So, I will be adding these sections for all of you! So, please hang in there as things change... at times there may be a little bit missing but I will do my best to get things done quickly!

Taking It Easy...

I am now 31 weeks along, with my little guy measuring two weeks ahead at 33 weeks. I have been told to take it easy by my doctor because I was doing too much and causing contractions. So for the last week I have been taking it easy. I still have some family photo shoots coming up, but thats not too much. In the last week, I have finished a big wedding album, an engagement album, and a baby announcement. I will work on getting some of that up for your viewing pleasure! Here is the announcement that has been drafted up, this is just an example, not the exact one they will be using. Gotta keep that one secret a bit until after mailing. I think it is so cute.

Welcome, Baby Connor!!!

Mike, Katie and their daughter Kylie have been waiting for this little guy to come into the world. A few weeks ago, he finally did and he is SO cute. His name is Connor Clifford Crame. I have known this family for many years now and it was such a privilege to photograph their family! Despite the heat, we went out yesterday and shot so many photos. Between photographs and laughing, we really had a great time. Here are quite a few photos from yesterday. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Babies, Babies, Babies....

It seems to be the season for babies. I have had the great chance of photographing six or seven sweet babies in just the last two weeks. Today, I spent the afternoon with my niece, Samara and my nephew, Elijah. They are always so fun to photograph. We were just sitting around playing with toys and splashing around in the baby pool. I am really enjoying this quality time with them! Here are a few photos to "show off" the little ones in my life!

What a cutie!!!

One of my BEST friends came into to town to spend some time with me! It was such a great surprise and it really made my weekend! I went to visit her when she had her baby almost one year ago in August. Now her little baby girl is getting so big. We played in the water out in the yard with both our daughters. I think Jordyn was so glad to have a little friend to play with.
As most of you know, I am taking off a few weeks this summer from weddings, just until my baby is born. But I can't seem to stay away from shooting anything and everything. Here are a few photos that I took of my friends daughter, Jazmine Isabella. She is just the cutest thing. She has a very big and cute personality. Very fun to shoot.

Meghan Elizabeth Hope!!!

She is the cutest little girl! Its been excited and nail biting at the same time, waiting to see if this little one was a boy or a girl. My best friend, Kate and her husband, Brian wanted to wait to find out the sex of the baby until the birth date! And she is a beautiful little girl! I am so excited that she is finally here! And she looks so much like her daddy.
We didn't do a studio shoot or anything, just a few shots taken here and there. But I made these postcard announcements for them.
